I'm recovered from my night owl duty and have been sent up to Bradford to collect a load of exhibition equipment.
Having needed a legally enforced rest break I was forced to pull into a service station operated by Moto and featuring a burger king.
The place was a disgrace and far from welcoming as you can see from the pictures below.
Burger king run a famously cheap meal campaign called the king deal in most of their outlets, but not in Moto.
They want to rip off tired, stressed and Hungary customers.
Moto want to charge you £2.19for a small bottle of water £2.19 is just plain stupid.
I'm not an economist but even I know that with the footfall of the average msa they could at least tripple sales if they offered realistic prices.
On average you have at least 40 or 50 lorries parked up at any given time of the day, these drivers have not chosen to visit here , they are forced to stop so if the prices were more affordable they would spend money.
The same drivers are doing a job that keeps this country moving.
If the trucks stop, the country stops
Simple. Truck & driver ran a campaign to name and shame the motorway service stations that didn't live up to standards but I'm not sure that's enough.
