wet head !!!

I had a back to front day today. My notes were in the wrong order because I had an afternoon drop on the back doors and everything else had to go AM.

I had to get to Welwyn Garden City for a domestic delivery of flooring.
I rang ahead and arranged to be there for 9.30.
It was easy and then over to St Albans for a pallet into a camping Shop before 10.30.
I had to juggle the stuff around a bit because the Pallet I needed was on the front for some reason.

I didn't take any pictures today because there was nothing to see really , it was one of those days.
I took the St Albans delivery off and, as I tightened up the ratchet on the curtains "whoosh" a massive splash all over my head and down my neck!! , Why does it do that? When it rains the water sits on the roof and then. when you tighten up your curtains it pours down in the corners. Why did it have to pour on me just at that time though?
I was in a public car-park just getting ready to drive out and quite a few people were sitting in their cars laughing......
I tried to act like nothing happened but its hard to pretend you don't have water pouring down your face and back..
I jumped up into the cab and dried off. I was laughing to myself . It had been raining really hard all the way down but it was really pleasant by now , which is probably why I was caught out by the water.

I was due in Northampton for 1 pm but it was only half past ten .
I drove up the M10 and onto the M1 and took a break at Newport Pagnell. The Motorway was closed at the junction I wanted 15a so I thought I might as well have a rest instead of sitting in the 7 miles of traffic that the radio was telling me about.
Dropped into my Northampton drop at about 12.15 and was straight onto a Bay for tipping.

I was on way by 1 pm.
After my last drop in Kettering I was asked to make a few collections on the way back.
I was out of the truck at around 5 pm and asked to load up a van for tomorrow. I took the van home and have to set off around 4 am for a monster run all over the northwest tomorrow.
