The Lakes

I took the van out today for a long run up to Airbus in Chester.

I went over to a tiny village in Wales . The Airbus drop was finished by 7 and then I went to park up and wait for the customer in Wales to answer the phone.



8.20 I was finished and set off to Preston for another flooring delivery.

When I typed in the postcode for the next drop I had to laugh . 111 miles !!! .Up in the lakes.
it took about two hours to get up there and I have to say it was a nice drive, beautiful snow capped mountains winding roads and a still lake all made the journey a pleasant one.




The people at the drop were really nice and offered me a cup of tea,

I had to get back because I had two more drops left, 1 in Bolton and the last one in Hyde , Manchester.
It was over a four hour drive back and that was at a steady 70.
Motorway all the way.
My truck is loaded for Leeds tomorrow so I'm off to bed.
Sleep , drive, Sleep, drive that's my life.
