The first few pictures are of other lorry's I saw on the road, the first one was in front of me when I got to my first delivery at 7 am. They didn't open until 8.30 am.
I was tipped before him and then this one came in as well, poor bloke had to wait until we were all emptied.
The next one was evidence that I was in carrot crunching country. Look carefully.
This post talks about the way us drivers get given an address that in no way relates to were the actual property is.
I was given the name 999 supply Ltd but not what the company did or what I was collecting.
Here is a clue.
I drove around the Industrial estate for a few minutes and couldn't find this company anywhere .
Eventually I parked up at the first building ans was going to start asking and by process of elimination eventually find where I was looking for.
I thought id look up the company name on the laptop first and see if it was listed on Google.
It said it was trading as Asset co Ltd. I was right outside it, and it made fire engine's.
"Get it" ? "999 Supply Ltd !"maybe it would be a good idea to put the name on your Massive building maybe?"
"Oh you did ?" " Where ?" "Oh, round the back ! "
This is about actual size !
I was finished with Ipswich and Cambridge and Huntingdon for the day but I'm back in wales tomorrow so lets see if today's snow gets any better or worse depending on your take of it.
Looks like Papworth Everard to me?
ReplyDeleteforget carrots...thats trucks so dirty it will be growing potatoes soon!!
ReplyDeleteThat it Papworth, I just wish they would give us a bit more help with the address's sometimes.
